AFCAT Salary Structure 2018
Pay Band in AFCAT is different for all the Branch. Here we will provided the separate breakup of Salary Branch wise.
A Flying Officer will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band (` 15,600 – 39,100) per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay. Dearness Allowances, Kit Maintenance & Transport Allowance.
In addition, other allowances are applicable based on nature of duty/ place of posting and would include Flying, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachin, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area and Remote Locality.
On successful completion of Training,You will get Gross Monthly Salary as Follow.
- Flying Branch salary – 85,372/-
- Ground Duty (Tech) Branch Salary – 74,872/-
- Ground Duty (Non-tech) Branch Salary – 71,872/-
In Ground Duty Non Technical, Total 4 duties will be there. They are Administration, Logistics, Accounts and Education Duty.
Allowances in IAF
You will entitled for below allowances in AFCAT along with Grade Pay.
- Military Service Pay
- Dearness Allowances (DA)
- Kit Maintenance
- Transport Allowance (TA)
- Other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting and would include Flying, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachin, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area and Remote Locality.
The pay and allowances are subject to enhancement based on implementation of VII CPC (7th pay Commission implementation)
In addition to the Pay & Allowances, officers are entitled to various benefits as follows,
- Furnished accommodation
- Comprehensive medical cover for self and dependents
- Supply of entitled rations
- Officers’ mess facilities and many more
LTC and leave (60 days annual and 20 days casual) subject to service exigency.
You will get insurance coverage after successful training or on the time of commission. 75 Lakh Insurance Cover (on contribution) is applicable to serving officers. Additional cover of 10 Lakh (on contribution) is applicable to Flying Branch Officers.
