CDS Exam generally release its Notification for the examination in the months of October and June. And exam dates are usually lies in February and November respectively. CDS application Form online apply:
All the candidates who are successfully downloaded the cds exam notification are now need to fill the application form online. Combined Defence Services application form is open to all the candidates who are wishing to join Indian Military Academy for Indian Army (Only Men), Indian Air Force Academy for Indian Air Force (Only Men), Naval Academy for Indian Navy (Only Men), Officers Training Academy (Men and Women) through CDS Exam.

CDS Eligibility Criteria:

Four main parameters we will discuss in criteria,
- Age Limit
- Gender allowed
- Physical Standard
- Education Qualification
Indian Military Academy (IMA)- 19-24 years.
Air Force Academy (IAFA)- 19-23 years.
Indian Naval Academy (INA)- 19-22 years.
Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) – 19-25 years
Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. males and females are eligible for CDS exams. Please note that divorced female candidates age, less than 25 considered as unmarried.
Female candidates are only eligible for OTA officers training academy Chennai.
Candidates should fulfill all required all the standard requirement of combined defense services to be physically fit and eligible. You can read more in detail at separate article of eligibility link given below.
Candidates should have completed graduation or similar course from a recognized university/institution.
CDS Exam Pattern:
For Indian Military Academy / Air Force Academy / Indian Naval Academy 3 papers will be there and all the paper will comprise of 100 marks, whereas for Officers’ Training Academy only 2 papers will be there which will have 100 marks each.

CDS Selection Process:
Candidates successful in the written exam are then called for an interview by a Services Selection Board which evaluates a candidate’s suitability for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
